Group Therapy
Group Therapy is often considered very helpful and instrumental in increasing
insight and eliciting change. A powerful process occurs when clients
can meet with others in a safe, confidential environment carefully mediated by
an experienced and trained Group Therapist. What is most powerful
is the realization that “we are not alone” in our experiences,
losses, emotions and reactions…. and Group Therapy can often augment
our individual therapy services if needed.
Aileen has several years training and experience in Group Therapy, conducting
groups in hospital settings, intensive day treatment facilities, correctional
facilities and community agencies.
"Perhaps the single most important
therapeutic credo that I have
is that the unexamined life is not worth
living." – Irving
